Term 3 takes place from 27 July – 20 September and is packed with colour, creativity, and exciting new art projects!
Across 8 weeks, children explore 4 exciting projects, learn new skills, and how to express themselves through art.
Manga Masterclass (8-14yrs) Dive into the world of manga and anime as students develop their drawing, character design, and storytelling skills. From creating expressive characters and dynamic poses to designing original comic pages, this class is perfect for young artists who love manga and want to take their artwork to the next level.

Term 1 Program:
Week 1: Create your Superhero
Students will design a character sheet for their very own superhero or a character inspired by their favourite anime or manga.
They will sketch, colour, and line their character while developing key details such as their superhero name, powers, colour palette, and origin story. This planning activity will help students build a strong understanding of their character before creating their comic book cover and story panels.
Week 2-4: Front Cover
Students will create their own superhero or choose a favourite hero for inspiration. They will design their character’s costume,
colours, and unique features before sketching their superhero in an exciting action pose. Once their front cover design is complete, they will bring it to life with colour, creating a bold and eye-catching comic book cover.
Week 5-8: Inside Panels
With their front cover complete and character expression skills developed, students will create two pages of a manga-style story explaining how their superhero gained their powers. Using provided templates, they will learn how to plan panels, sequence events, and tell a visual story. The final week will focus on assembling their comic book, with early finishers able to add extra story pages or design a back cover. A structured timeline will help ensure all students complete their project.

The Term 2 Manga Masterclass takes place at the following locations…
Applecross – Thursday 5pm, Saturday 11am, Sunday 1:30pm
East Vic Park – Wednesday 5pm
Rockingham – Monday 6:30pm
How much do classes cost?
$240 per child per term, payable in full at time of booking for children 5 to 8yrs. $220 per term for a limited time only (see above)!
We welcome siblings! To enrol an additional child costs only $210 per term. Choose ‘term bookings’ to pay in full.

You can also pay in 4 instalments of $62 just choose ‘term fee by instalments’ when booking. Sibling discount also available. Please note that the $10 off offer doesn’t apply for these.

What do you get?
Professional teaching, one hour of targeted art activities for your child and all materials including a canvas for the major painting project. We also have art aprons for the students to wear. We have a maximum of 14 children per class. Don’t forget you also get to enjoy the results of your child’s creativity afterwards at home!
